Bi Luo Chun ("Green Snail Spring") is hand-rolled into tiny, tightly curled spirals from the youngest spring buds grown around Dongting Lake. It's one of the most fragrant green teas made, with a delicate cup that carries notes of stone fruit and fresh flowers over a soft, sweet vegetal note beneath a light, silky body.
Its caffeine content sits in the medium range of our lineup — gentle enough to enjoy any time of day, while still offering a light natural lift.
As with other young, minimally processed green teas, Bi Luo Chun keeps much of its natural antioxidant content intact, making it a light, easy addition to a daily routine.
How far does it go? As a rough guide, based on about 2.5–3g of leaves per 8oz cup:
